Well, I just got to go clear my backyard. Wife swore she heard something or someone back there. About a week ago, somebody got in my truck and took my iPod, so I know there is a thief problem in the neighborhood.

Checked it out, didnt see anything, or even a trace. However, the 1911 is now loaded, along with the Ruger, the 12ga, and a full mag for the AR, oh, and both mags for her Walther (better than a nail file).

Call it overprepared, but with the crazy ish going on tonight, I am not taking any chances.

Evening, kids.

Just got home from my third baseball game of the day - my oldest son is playing in a tournament this weekend so we played a doubleheader at 8:00 this morning, and then a buddy invited us all to the Angels/Rangers game this evening. Everyone is sleeping now and resting up for what could be three back to back games tomorrow if we claim the tournament. Fun times.

We're seeded third going into the playoffs tomorrow. Not the best, but this is a new team and they've only practiced a few times - the boys are playing really well together under the circumstances. Getting ready for a bigger tourney in Chino in two weeks. Got to get all polished up for that one.

Certainly warmer than it was last week. Aug 1 should be the middle of summer, around here we still 3 more full months of heat, then the Santa Ana and the fires will be coming.
