Picture with current grip tape.

Lat night since I had nothing to do, I decided to work on the Ruger 22-45 pistol.
I removed all grip tape. Took the pistol apart and stippled the frame.
Gave her a thorough cleaning.

Here's the Ruger 22-45 stippled: front grip and back grip and Under the trigger guard.

She grips much better...

Yep. I bought her with 200 rnds fired. Got a drop holster and 200 rnds of brass with her for 375. Now she has 600 rnds fired and I have 500 rnds reloaded. 255 gr molycoated LFN over 5.2 Gr of Trailboss. A nice medium load giving me 900 FPS. I'm ready for another Tumey trip.
The fit and finish on the Baretta is awesome. The fire blued cylinder and barrel, The grips shine like a new penny and she shoots great. Has a crossbar safety so I can load 6. But I still do the John Wayne load. Load one, Skip one and load 4 more. Close the gate, pull the hammer back and drop it. Lands on an empty chamber every time. No worry about indexing.
